PAINT REMOVER

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The material is a homogeneous liquid and free from grit and other visible impurities.
RECOMMENDED USE

Use to remove solid paint either synthetic paint, etch primer, epoxy primer, PU & Epoxy paints, PU Surfacer, Polyester putty etc. Apply the paint remover on the painted surface by brush. Wait for 3 to 5 mins. The cured paint will be detached from the bottom surface. Remove the detached paint film by use of a scrapper made of wood or non-ferrous metal. The paint film will have detachment till it is getting in touch with the paint remover.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATION
Colour Water like (wax is dispersed to lower the evaporation rate)
Non- volatile matter The material will have a residue between 4 to 10 % by mass.
Consistency The material shall have a rate of flow similar to that of an oil of  viscosity not lower than 10 P and not higher than 20 P.
Efficiency When applied by a brush or a swab to a thoroughly dry, old (air dried or stored) paint film allowed for 5 minutes , the material shall soften the paint film to such an extent that it easily removed  with a scraper or non-ferrous metal.
Free from Alkalinity The water extract prepared from the material shall not give red colour with phenolphthalein and blue colour with congo  red, when added to portions of the water extract separately.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• Safety have to taken using gloves in hands and eyes should be cover by safety gloves at the time handling of the material.
• In case of contamination, rinse with fresh running water and seek medical help at once.
• Provide sufficient ventilation when working with solvent based coatings in confined spaces and stagnant air.
• Follow local and national Safety rules
